Hi all,
Have an R61i 8932-AEG that I wiped from factory default for language change reasons. Have installed all the relevant packages, or at least I THINK I have - but I can't get any of the function key combinations to work. This wouldn't bother me too terribly much except for Fn-F5 doesn't seem to be working, and thus I have no ability to turn the Bluetooth antenna on.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

R61i Bluetooth/Fn key problem

I hope this isn't way off the mark but on my R60 I can turn on bluetooth either via the blue Thinkvantage button or what's called productivity centre. Is the 61 so different that F5 is the only option? Or maybe those were options that were wiped.

You didn't mention which operating system you installed, Windows XP or Vista?
Four things make Fn keys successfully work and function properly on ``Think`` machines with Vista:
1. Lenovo System Interface driver.
2. ACPI Power Management.
3. Display driver.
4. Hotekey utility.
Add Presentation director to the list too.
The list is identical for Windows XP except Lenovo System Interface driver.

It's XP, and I believe I have those things installed. I should note that it's definitely an Fn key problem because, even after installing presentation director, I can't get Fn-F7 to work. However, the on screen volume thing pops up fine, which is part of the hotkey package...
