A22e CMOS/rtclock Battery Replacement

#1 Post by jecoled » Thu Nov 08, 2007 2:13 am

Any tips on replacing said battery? I am having a heck of a time getting the battery connected properly. As it stands, I have to reset the bios clock each time I boot up, so I either have a bad replacement battery, or it is not properly seated in the connector. I suspect the latter is the case. The Service Manual is not much help as it doesn't differentiate between the black and red leads, so I can't even be sure what side of the battery should be placed up in the battery assembly. Thanks.
