Intel 2915ABG works with R40 2723-26M

Just bought an IBM branded Intel 2915ABG wireless card from underclocker and I can confirm that it works with the Thinkpad R40 2723-26M. The Fn+F5 button combo and the wireless LED work as expected with the proper IBM drivers. Thankfully, the no-1802 hack was not required unlike for the Thinkpad Mini-PCI Wireless Card II I bought brand new from Lenovo.

You will have to download the drivers from the R50 section of the Lenovo web site, not the R40 section. The R40 never had this card as an option, thus it has no drivers for it.

The IBM part number is 27K9936.

Just a quick addition:
I expect that the R40 2722 and 2724 models will work in the same way as the 2723 model. All these models of R40 use the Pentium-M processor.
