A31 system board substitution

#1 Post by proaudioguy » Mon Nov 19, 2007 6:19 pm

Will the system board with only 16 MB work with the SXGA screen? Is it the same connector? The GPU is the same ATI 7500.

It should work...if my memory serves me, the connectors are the same, but proceed with caution since it's been a while since I've last played with any of these...

It definitely works. My A31 media server recently received a transplant LCD. I had an XGA w/16MB ATI video and I swapped in the SXGA+ LCD.

No issues at all.
