Z61m: Cleaning the speaker area?

Hi, on my thinkpad Z61m my speaker area is all clogged up with little pieces of dirt - does anyone know how to remove this in a really painless way?

Vacum cleaning doesn't work, so I guess I'm looking for an easy way to remove the speaker covers...

I used a pin to poke at the dirt and then a blower; worked like a charm...
