Image shifted to the right when using external LCD with A22m

#1 Post by Jeff » Mon Dec 24, 2007 10:05 pm

I have discovered an interesting anomaly with my A22p 2628-SSU with Win XP. When I use an external 1024x768 flat panel monitor (Viewsonix VP150), and set the color depth on the video card to 32 bit, the image is shifted to the right by 4 pixels. When I change the color dept to 16 bits, everything aligns perfectly. I have an adjustment on the monitor to compensate, but I use the monitor via a KVM switch to connect to a T23 also. If I shift the horizontal position for the A22m on my monitor, then the T23 image is shifted to the left. I am OK running the the A22p at 16 bit color, but it would be nice to know if there is a fix for this. I am using the recommended ATI drivers downloaded from the Lenovo site. I am using my external monitor to replicate the laptop LCD image. I am not operting in dual monitor mode. Using the image shifting comtrols on the ATI video control panel does nothing even if I set the external LCD up as a second monitor. Any suggestions? Thanks.
