R61 Disassembly Instructions

Is there a guide online for step by step dissasembly for the r61 (Incase I would like to change the hard drive, keyboard, memory, etc.)

thanks for your reply. is there any site similar to http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Mac/PowerBo ... 12-Inch/53 for thinkpads?

I'd like instructions for removing specific parts for the computer Ie: hard drive, memory, etc for upgrades instead of completely disassembling the computer.

The Hardware Maintenance Manual includes that and much more. Nobody forces you to completely disassemble the computer just because the manual includes that possibility.

In general the way the HMM is laid out you start at the beginning and follow the disassembly procedure until you remove the part you want.
You can skip to the section relevant to you but if you look at the prerequisite parts that need to be removed you will see that they are all in the preceeding sections. You may not need to remove all the parts before it but probably most of them.
