Crucial and others can read my computer online and have conflicting answers. Some say 2GB is maximum, others say 3GB.
I just installed 4GB of OCZ memory (PC2-5400-667MHz) and it really makes this machine fly. I had 2GB of PC2-5300 memory and moved that to my T43.
The question is...since the BIOS says I have 4GB and PC-Doctor 5 says I have 3GB, and BelARC says 4GB and CPU-Z says 3GB...which is it? Windows Vista says I have 3GB.
Bottom line, the Z61t is much quicker with 4GB and Windows Vista Business.
What do I really have and did I waste any $$? They are on sale this week for a very cheap price ($69 after rebate at FRY's).
Thanks for any comments...Bill Pratt
