Reinstalled XP, cant find last two drivers...

Hey all

In device manager after a clean install of XP, I'm getting yellow question marks for "SM Bus Controller" and "unknown device" directly under it.

I've been using http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-64278

But cant seem to find what i'm looking for. Does anyone happen to know which drivers I need? or a different place to be looking?

Ok, disregard the SM bus controller, realized a google search would suffice.

but the 'unknown' yellow question mark...how would you even go about figuring out what that is?

also, the 'unknown device' is listed as being at

"on Intel(R) 82801GBM (ICH7-M/U) LPC Interface Controller - 27B9"


I've been putting in time with google, but still cant seem to find the right intel driver to solve this problem.

Why don't you install and run ThinkVantage System Update and let it find the packages for your thinkpad?

You probably need the UUAHD Audio driver, go to here and scroll down to installation instructions.
T61p 6460-67G; 15,4 WSXGA+ W7P x64, no hairdryer.
T43p 2668-G2G, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, internal hairdryer
T23 2647-9LG, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, no hairdryer
