Windows Media player 11 problem

I have lenovo R61

When im playing music or video in windows media player the enhancements dont work at all(equalizer color changer) and the visualizations dont work either as you can see in the picture

how would i fix this?

ive gotten the lastest driver for graphic card and sound card and it still doesnt work.

How about re-installing it as a place to start.

Personaly, I don't like WMP and I don't use it.... My advice: Use Winamp for audio files (and iPod if necesery), and K-lite Mega Codec Pack for video (it has Media Player Classic emmbeded, GUI is little old, but has many options, and supports probably all formats you will ever encounter).... Before instalation uninstall all codecs, after installation set Winamp for default audio player and MPC for video files. Post if you need advices

ya its working now im using windows media player 10 but the visualization doesnt look so good on the labtop
