I'm having some trouble here with an R51 that can't seem to be put into standby when pressing the Fn + F4 combination. All other Fn + Fx keys work, except this one - the only one needed around here!
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the thinkpad PM driver (v1.44) with no succes... I've had a look into the bios for a function regarding ACPI but didn't see any...
The machine is running XP SP2, with all of the latest updates. It runs like a charm, and putting it to standby through the XP dialogues runs just fine. It's just the hotkey combination that doesn't work
If anyone could give me a hand it would be much appreciated.
Cheers, all the best, thanks in advance.

EDIT: Problem solved! Accidentaly i found out not only that Fn + F12 did managed to put the machine to sleep (suspension, not hibernation) and eventually fiddling around with the Windows control panel and power options I could restore the Fn + F4 key to make the computer enter stand by.
So problem solved, this thread can be deleted! Sorry for that :
