Got me an Atheros card...sorta.

Well... I tried everything to get the minipci Atheros card to work and just could'nt get it going no matter what. I was adamant about having an Atheros chipset and settled for a D-LINK DWL-G630 PCMCIA card. Alas, it sticks out but it does seem to be a little more sensitive than the 2200BG. A friend of mine had an Atheros card for a laptop he onced owned but could not think of the brand of laptop so he gave me his minipci Atheros. I installed it in my A31 and it just powered down. It did'nt even boot in XP,lol! Musta not liked my thinkpad. The only thing I see on it is 'AC3000MP -A' and wmia-116. Its not a Sparklan card, thats for sure.
