R60 - windows xp bullet point issue

#1 Post by viren » Fri May 30, 2008 12:54 pm

Hi,

I have an R60 laptop and have used a fresh install of windows XP, and I believe I have installed all drivers properly. I have a small issue, wherever I have a bullet point selection the point is not centred and looks strange, this is hard to describe, but if you look at the google homepage for instance where it says you have the selection of searching from the web the bullet point does not appear to be positioned properly. I am a noob and have no idea how I would go about posting an image on the forum. Any help anyone can give me with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Viren[/img]

Welcome to the forum. Don't know how to help you about your problem because i'm not sure what you are talking about, so I'll help you to upload image.

This site doesn't support direct upload, so you must upload it somewhere else like http://imageshack.us , and paste link back here. Now, open imageshack link, then click browse, find your image file, and click upload. New window will appear that shows your uploaded image, on the bottom of the screen there is Hotlink for forums (1) section, uncheck box Include details and copy first link, then open new reply here and just paste that link.

Just one more thing, does all that "not centred" stuff happens all the time or just when you go online? If so check your browser for new version.... Hope it helps....

Hi,

Thanks, very much for the help, I have posted a link below, hopefully correctly. If you look at where you select the option for the web and pages from canada is an example of the issue I am referring to. The problem is not specific to my web browser and occurs while looking through windows options and really anytime there is a bullet point selection. I was wondering if maybe I had made a mistake with the installation of my video drivers, but from what I can tell it has been installed correctly. Its not a huge issue, and is sometimes worse than usual, and the bullet points continue to work. Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

That's strange, I don't believe it has something with video driver.... Is your screen resolution set to default? Try to change it and see what happens... Honestly, don't know what else might be the problem....
