R32 Ultrabay battery not detected

Just purchased an ultrabay battery(02k6817) off ebay for my laptop. The problem is that it is not detected at all. The ebay listing said it was compatible, and I even did some searching on my own. The sites I checked out said the same thing, so I made the purchase.

First battery didnt work, so the company send me a 2nd, which doesnt work either. After even more searching on the net, some places say it is compatible, some say no. The lenovo site lists 02k6645 as the correct battery, but says there is no such thing as a 02k6817!

I'm totally confused!

Can anyone help me figure out what it the correct ultrabay battery for my r32?

i received it used but in great condition. 30 bucks incliding shipping to canada. i added about 1 hour 20 minutes to my battery life.
before i was only getting about 1 hour. so yeah i think just make sure that the battery is an ultrabay 2000 and if the one they send doesent work, you might have an issue with your r32.

btw anyone know if the battery life im getting is ok? afaik thats the only seller i saw on ebay who had them, and the price sure beats lenovo. lol and i dont have any connection to them either just a onetime customer. peace
