High memeory usage

Hello
i just got a new R61, 3GB memeory, X3000 Graphics
installed with XP sp2
I added office 2003, Visual Studio 2005. and AVG 8
after startup it's using 600MB
it is very high
can someone advise

Well, fire up task manager and see which Pgm is using RAM.
