TP R60 1024 to 1400

Can anybody tell me if it's cool to change original display from my r60 1024x768 -> 1400x1050 (from r51)?

I have an integrated Intel GMA 950 with 2GB ram.

Someone told me to change video cable?! Is that true?

If we're discussing 15" units:

You won't be able to make this swap, these LCDs are NOT meant to be interchangeable. Your integrated video will not drive an IPS SXGA+ LCD properly...it may work, but with issues.

If we're discussing 14" units:

This will work, you will need the appropriate cable for SXGA+.
