I have a r31 and need a new hard drive. What are the max specs i can get like speed and size?

I think the only limitation is it being PATA, the biggest of which is 250gb.

That's the biggest that I've seen (bought one for my wife's R51), but I want to say that I've seen 400-500Gb advertised. Can anybody confirm this?

They are probably desktop drives, not laptop drives. Or they're SATA instead of PATA, there are 500gb SATA laptop drives.

Yup, you are correct on that. I was looking at some ads for SATA drives that I was considering putting in a UltraBay adapter. I guess I'll just have to wait patiently for the day when I finally move over to a machine that takes one of those big SATA drives.
