power calibration error - r50p

hi there!
when i try to burn a dvd the process everytime fails with the message "power calibration error". i use the thinkpad r50p with nero 6.
if somebody has an idea to solve this problem please let me know.

are you using xp service pack 2?   if so, did you upgrade nero?   outside of reinstalling nero, that's all i can think of...
