No, the 855 does not support 533.

What you are looking for is any Dothan that has a number ending in a 5, such as 725, 735, 745, 755 which designate that they are the 400 FSB versions of that chip. Also make certain that they don't have the "a" designation after it either since most of the 400 FSB machine aren't new enough to have the microcode to make those CPUs run at the correct speed. Don't ask how I know this!

ThinkWiki is a good sight for this kind of information. Do a search on Dothan and it will give you a chart.

The Intel Processor Finderpage shows which CPUs will run in your machine.

You want to match on:
bus speed = 400
package = Micro-FCPGA (The BGA variety is soldered directly to the mobo)
cache size = 2MB (those with 1MB = Banias which is the older technology)

You should also check that the stepping level is supported by the BIOS you have in your machine. The BIOS download page has details.
W520, X301, T500, (past X61( SXGA+),T42P,SL500, A31, R52, T42,X32(SXGA+), T40P,A31P, A21P, 770Z)
