Thinkpad R61i 1802 Error

#1 Post by pete8475 » Thu Aug 21, 2008 11:33 pm

I'm trying to replace the mini pci-e nic that came with this machine with a new Intel 3945ABG card. The Atheros drivers do not work well in XP-64 (terrible transfer rates compared to any 32bit os) and so I'd like to give an intel nic a shot.

Is there anyway to get around this 1802 error?

Well I got in touch with Zender and he provided a bios that has gotten rid of this annoying error.

Thank you once again to Zender!
