Accident Protection questions

#1 Post by ziomal » Mon Sep 08, 2008 6:37 pm

hello,
when i bought my z61m around 2 years ago, i purchased the accident protection warranty for 3 years, recently i been involved in a car accident, my laptop was in the trunk no idea on what kind of damage did it take but since back seats were moved forward and basically the car looks like there is no rear end i think it could be in pieces, any one had any experience with the protection service because i'm not sure if i should even take my time to try to get it out of the car before it lands at the junk yard, do they only cover something minor like a spill or a broken screen, or would they replace more parts than that ? thank you for your help.
hello thinkpad world :-p

Well, to get anything out of IBM/Lenovo you'll have to pull the machine out of trunk...and see what's what. You may be surprised with your findings...

In my limited experience, they'll replace what needs to be replaced.

Hope this helps.
