Battery Maximizer vs. Power Manager... R50p

#1 Post by sarbin » Sun Sep 21, 2008 9:38 am

'morning all...
i've searched and seen the reports of Power Manager running successfully on officially *unsupported* T41/2 machines.

my question is whether anyone has successfully run Power Manager on an R50p? the functionality i'd like most is the ability to set battery charging thresholds, which can't be done with Battery Maximizer.

The guts of your R50p (apart from LCD, obviously) are identical to T41p and I see absolutely no reason why this shouldn't work...

thanks, George.

we tried it and it installed ok, but there is some missing functionality. primarily the battery charging threshold screen, which is what i was hoping to have.
