Is it possible to upgrade the current Intel Pro wireless wifi 3945abg card to an Intel agn card?

I have the R61 8932 CTO.

There is a number of intel agn cards available for your machine.

Thanks for the site. would I need to change the bios in any way for these cards to be usable?

I changed from an intel abg to Atheros agn in my T60 without any BIOS change. Did have to find the right card though.
