I have a Z61m with CoreDuo T2300 1,66GHz processor. Is it possible to change it with my Core2Duo T5500 1,66Ghz?
The fan is always on and it's loud.
Maybe new fan would be better?

You should be able to upgrade your ThinkPad with no issues.
As for the fan noise, have you cleaned the fan/heatsink recently? Are you running ThinkPad Fan Control?
Hope this helps.

Mode for AC and Battery is switched to Battery Optimization. But I don't know what's better in Adaptive Thermal MAnagement...Maximize performance or Balanced?
I cleaned the fan and used Cooler Arctic 5 thermal paste.
ThinkPad Control is set to manual, fan speed 1 or 2, because if I set it to Smart, the fan doesn't spin, but the laptop is hot as hell. If it's controlled by bios, the fan spins all the time, even if the processor is about 50°C.
I was wondering if Core2Duo would be better in thermal, like CoreDuo?
