R61 v Rxxx series

#1 Post by ZekkusR61 » Sun Nov 02, 2008 4:46 am

Hi folks,

can someone point me to, or summarise the major differences between these two Laptops?

Seems I purchased the R61 just as the Rxxx series came out. I feel like I should have waited. A bit like buying the '07 car and the next day they release the '08 model ..grrr .. lol! ;)

Thanks in advance,

Leonard

PS: I'm not altogether unhappy with the R61, just wondering?

The performance difference will be very small if any depending on what you are doing. There's perhaps a bit better battery life on the newer R series due to the lower wattage CPU.
