Dear All,

I'm newbie here and would like to learn from you guys...

i plan to change the installed modem on my R51 with the IBM Integrated Bluetooth III with 56K Modem (BMDC-2), is it possible or allowed?

My Thinkpad is R51 Model 1830-MA4. Thanks a lot for your kind advices....

Welcome to the forum Paul.

There are two versions, BMDC200 and BMCD200b. They have different modem chips but both should work.
