Pelican case fit question

hi i found a Pelican 1490 case on ebay that was too good an offer to pass up. it came with foam but i am thinking about getting the computer tray insert for it (1499C). however, my R61 is rather deep for this case with the extended battery protruding behind it.

does the insert take up additional depth from the case? should i just cut up the foam the case came with? should i scrap the case (well, re-sell it) and find myself a 1495 instead?

baaaaaaaaaa goes the buzzer. with the extended battery, it's 14" x 11 1/4" - too deep. maybe i should pick up a 6 cell battery or sell the case...

I have a Storm IM2500 and a Pelican of the same size and have the same problem with my X60Tablet. If I leave it in the tablet sleeve, it's too big. If I take it out of the sleeve it's still too big due to the extended battery. Even if I use a smaller battery, the tablet sleeve would still make it too big.
