r61 for $450 - good deal?

#1 Post by repke95 » Sat Nov 22, 2008 8:58 pm

t7100 1.8 dual core CPU
Docking station
Extra battery
2 year warrenty
2 gigs of ram (Kingston)
Xp pro / ms office 2003 + CDs
In theory good display and body is in good shape

We've had a couple Thinkpads die on us so were apprehensive but this seems like a good deal yes?

Thanks in advance, I appreciate this forums input. Pls excuse my spelling - using an iPod touch and it's driving me crazy.

I think you'd be much happier with a T61 for $600 with 2 years warranty.

The big question would be what kind of shape is it in. If it's good if you factor in the dock and Office, the R61 seems like a pretty good deal.

If you don't move your PC much, R61 should be ok. $450 seems a good deal.
