QXGA mod possible in a R50?

#1 Post by obarriel » Sat Jan 10, 2009 6:15 am

I have the possibility of buying a R50 (15''/SXGA/ATi 9000 32mb/Pentium M).

It is possible to perform a QXGA mod in this thinkpad? I is more difficult than with the R50p, or they are roughly the same?

Thank you very much
a w520, a couple of T60@T61, a affs modded x201 and some other older stuff.

It is possible and should pose no problem if all the correct parts (cable, inverter) are used.
