A31 usb 1 replacement with usb 2.0 is it possible?how?

i have a tp A31 with pentium4 and 2 usb 1.0 ; i have many problems to manage with external device like dvdrom or others just because they need a usb 2.0 so there is some way to get into my a31 usb 2.0?only with pcmcia card i could get it?

An other forum member brought to my attention that there are PCMCIA USB 2.0 adapters that fit entirely 'in' the laptop.

I've bought one myself for my A31 last week. Waiting for it to arrive, so I can't tell you much more at this moment.

Hi,

I finally got my inside USB card last week, and I have to say, it works great! No problems, it is a tight fit, but, just plug it in and you are ready! My Cruzer 4gb and 8gb fit and work with no problems and does not cause any problems with my D-Link PCMCIA card.
