Hello
I have a r50 notebook and the hard drive recently failed, attempts to restore have been futile... (meaning i have tried restoring and no luck)
I tried putting a new hard drive into it however it says "no operating system detected" and turns off, any thoughts on how to get the laptop working?
thanks
Pete

Try putting a Want to Buy post in the Marketplace here for a set of recovery discs.

And make sure you mention the 7-character Type-Model from the bottom of your laptop, e.g. R50 1856-A34goofyGAguy wrote:Try putting a Want to Buy post in the Marketplace here for a set of recovery discs.
