A31: can I set a default for the LCD brightness?

#1 Post by emeu1 » Sun Feb 08, 2009 3:44 pm

Hello,

one of the first things I allways do after my A31 has booted up, is reducing the brightness of the LCD screen. After booting up, the brightness level is allways set to "7" (0 being the lowest, 7 being the highest lebvel, when pressing [Fn][End]/[Fn][Home] decrease/increase LCD brightness).

In Thinkpad Configuration I can only set the LCD brightness to "normal" or "high" and this setting is only applicable when the A31 is running on batteries.

Under:
Control Panel => Display
I haven't found a possibility to set a custom value for the LCD brightness.
I normally use a setting of "2". Is there a way to set the default LCD brightness to "2"?
Kind regards,

Erik

What's the setting in BIOS...normal or high?

Also, what are the power settings in BIOS?
