Bootable CD for G41 Product Recovery?

I have the 6 Product recovery CDs from IBM (p/n 39K7220). I assumed disc 1 was bootable, but not so....Is there a separate bootable CD that I'm missing?

Welcome to the forum. Yes the disk 1 of ? should be bootable. I'm not familiar with the G series as far as how many disks in a recovery set, but they sometimes have a software & manual cd that is not part of the actual recovery set and comes with pack of cd's when you purchase them separately. Did you burn the set or purchase them from ibm??

You probably need a bootable Rescue and Recovery disk for G4x series...then it would make sense that disk labeled as #1 is not bootable.

The CD's were obtained from IBM. The number 1 CD does not seem to be bootable so I guess I need the Rescue and Recovery CD for the G41. Now let me schedule an hour on the phone with IBM....
