R50 - HD upgrade - do 2010 error codes apply?

I'm considering upgrading my 40GB HD on my R50 1830-CG5 and I've been reading here about the 2010 error code in the T43s and also in the R52s. But I'm pretty confused as to whether this also applies to the R50 model.

Does anyone know if I risk encountering this problem on my R50 if I upgrade?

No, you will not encounter the 2010 error in a R50.

My 1830-X5X has no 2010 error with my 120gb Western Digital drive.
