scren border

Hi
I just reinstalled an xp pro on a R52. the desk top is not filling the whole scren, shows a one inch black border around.
did not expect that. how can I fix it?

Display Properties > Desktop tab > selected "Stretch" but it is grayed out.

never mind, I changed the resolution and got it fixed.
