First, it's a good idea to post the model number of your ThinkPad (8919-CTO) but you shouldn't post the serial number. You may want to edit it out.

The "MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-850 Z" has nothing to do with audio drivers, it's the name and model number of your DVD burner drive.

You don't say what problem you have, only that you have one. Please elaborate a bit more so we can help you out.

i have not sound in the laptop and the crazy thing is that , yesterday not boot from xp and the problem is that in any of the cases of boot from safe mode or safe mode from network etc didn't work and when click ENTER one blue screen appear and instantly reboot  , after this go to boot from widows xp cd sp2 and when tell me to press ENTER tha laptop stopped and this message appear : windows xp professional set up , SET UP DID NOT FIND ANY HARD DISK INSTALLED IN YOUR COMPUTER . MAKE SURE ANY HARD DISK DRIVERS ARE POWERED ON AND PROPERLY CONNECTED TO YOUR COMPUTER , AND THAT ANY DISK-RELATED HARDWARE CONFIGURATION IS CORRECT . THIS MAY INVOLVE RUNNING A MANUFACTURER-SUPPLIED DIAGNOSTIC OR SET UP PROGRAM . SET UP CANNOT CONTINUE . TO QUIT SETUP , PRESS F3 , i am crazy about this and sorry about block letters . Any solution please !!

Oh no, don't post your Windows XP license key! Please don't post any more serial numbers! For your own good.

So it seems you have two problems. You have no sound after uninstalling the sound card drivers. That should easily be fixed by going to:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-67816
and downloading the 7ka114ww.exe file. After you start it, it will create some files in the C:\DRIVERS directory. Go there and start the setup.exe file to install the Audio drivers.

However, it seems you have a problem with your hard disk. I would download some diagnostic tools (depending on your drive manufacturer), burn them to a CD, start your computer from the CD and check the drive using the software. It is possible your drive is dying and you may need to get a new one.

Also, first thing I would do is to back up important data from the drive! Always a good idea if you start getting symptoms like these.

Thanks you !! Which diagnostic tool you suggest free ?
