You need to d/l this TrackPoint and UltraNav Accessibility Features and update your drivers on your new TP. This link is to your model's driver matrix at lenovo.com

On my system, the drivers add a tab to the Mouse applet in Control Panel marked as UltraNav.

There's a part of that tab marked TrackPoint that has a Settings button. That button opens a dialog where you can set it to scroll.

Yes as Mike Blake mentioned you can tick the selection there. However, on my systems (R40, R32, and R31) all I had to do was unpack, install, and reboot as the drivers recommend for the blue middle button to start scrolling. I mention "unpack" because when you download the driver and run, that only unpacks to the c:program files/drivers/win(or xp) folder then you run setup file.

on my system, the drivers DID NOT add a tab to the Mouse applet in Control Panel marked as UltraNav.
in Control Panel I have an icon "TrackPoint Accessibility" but nothing to do with the middle blue button.
I downloaded the file, installed it as per instrucitons but Start > run > file.exe > ok. restarted the pc.
