A few A31p Q's

how do I upgrade the video? And, how can I get a second battery?

Upgrading the video, in the same sense of being able to replace the "video card" as in a desktop, is not possible with most laptops (including the A31p). The video system is firmly soldered to the motherboard; it's not something that is removable by the user. About the only way that you can upgrade the video processor would be to attach the laptop to a docking station which has a built-in half-size PCI card capability. Such docking stations exist for the A31p, like this one:

As far as obtaining another battery, you can search online for "Thinkpad A31 battery" and arrive at a bunch of sources. It appears that the Lenovo online store is not currently selling them. You can also post a WTB (want to buy) notice here in the Marketplace forum:

A30 screen: Same options as Ray already mentioned.
