Will 15" SXGA+ (4:3) from R60 fit on R52?
Anybody knows for sure, definitely, if the 15" SXGA+ LCDs form R52 and R60 are interchangeable?
Both have 4:3 format.
R52 uses LG-Philips LP150E07 (TL) (02) P/N-FRU: 92P6710/92P6711 or 13N7085/13N7086
R60 uses LG-Philips LP150E07 (TL) (03) numbers found: 42T0350, 13N7218
I have the pin-layout of the R52 screen. Anybody has one for the R60?

The pinout is not the problem. The issue is that the R60 uses the eeprom to read screen configuration. R52 does not. Some of the r52 panels have the eeprom. Some do not. The Philips p/n is the same with a different revision. If you atr going TO an R60, I would afraid to make the switch without confirming that the eeprom was there. Using a panel without an eeprom can blow a fuser in the R60. (I learned that the hard way)

I can't recall that anyone has made that swap that I'm aware of. We can be pretty certain that it doesn't work the other way around, for the reasons richk stated, LCD from R52 will yield issues when installed in an R60. However, I would imagine that the LCD from R60 will work in a R52...

The question really is: will the R60 screen work in an R52?
The answer from above posts seems to be 50/50.

I didn't read the title of the post. I'm fairly sure it will work in that direction.

The person who had an R60 15" SXGA+ for sale didn't accept my offer.
So instead I've ordered a new CCFL. Once I put that in, it'll be as good as new for quite a bit less than I offered him.
