Upgrading memory on R50e

#1 Post by Rexangular » Sun Aug 16, 2009 3:30 am

I have a R50e on which I've swapped the original memory for 1GB.. I thought the spare empty slot would be adjacent to the one I replaced but, I can't see it. Anyone know where it is located so I can fit my second 1GB?

Shag the Hardware Maintenance Manual for the R50e and it will show how to replace the memory. I believe the second slot is under the keyboard.

Many thanks for your link. I have now got my two gigs of memory. I knew it would be simple but, your link cleared a few doubts I had about the install.

Thanks again for your help.
