Vista and power options on R51

Hi,

I hope someone can help with this.

On my XP partition, there is a "power options" in control panel that is very nice. It doesn't say, but I assume it's an IBM tool. Has alarms etc, etc.

On my Vista Ultimate partition, I downloaded and installed everything I could find for the Thinkpad to get all the special functions. However, I seem to be missing my nice power options. The one in control panel is Vista generic and has nothing about battery power etc.

So, did I miss something to get the nice power options back? Or is there a tool to download that you can recommend that lets you setup alarms and set options on all the parts of your laptop?

One question tho, it says R51e. I only have the R51. Will the tools that say R51e all work for the plain old R51?

I use Power Manager v. 1.60 on my R51 running XP. It likewise is listed as not supported on the R51. It works perfectly. Hope that helps.
