New problem with sound!

#1 Post by karrar55 » Sun Oct 04, 2009 9:35 pm

I made a topic on the sound problem but that was wrong. the problem is that I have a ibm z60t. I upgrade from xp to vista 32 bit and the driver for sound is not installed on their. so when i go to the speaker icon on the lower right and right click it and click playback devices, it shows that the high definition audio device is not plugged in. I need the vista upgrade of the sound driver and cant seem to find it online! can someone Help. Thanks!!

Intersting. I would think Vista would include all the drivers for a machine like the Z60t. It has all the drivers for my R60 except the power management driver. It says on the Z60t audio driver page that it's included in the OS. Have you tried Windows Update? Maybe delete it in device manager and see if it installs when reboot.
