Cannot create recovery discs

Hi, Just got an R50p a few days ago.
I tried to create my recovey cds using access IBM, but
couldn't find any "create recovery discs" option.
When I tried to contact tech. support, the rep. told me
R-series do not support that kind of option. It is totally
unacceptable and unreasonable.
He also refused to send out recovery cds as well.
Is anyone who can help me out?
