Intel 5100 wireless N card with R61i?

I have an R61i and am trying to install an Intel 5100 card and am getting the 1802 error, I loaded and followed the instructions to bypass the 1802 error to no avail. Can anyone give me ideas on why it isn't working and what I can do?
R61i Intel Core 2 Duo.

Read Zender's post about modified BIOS. AFAIK you model is also covered there.
