My R61 I

#1 Post by wa6mbz » Wed Jan 20, 2010 6:48 pm

Hello ThinkPad R,A,G, and Z Series users,

I have an R 61 I. I have not used it for some time,
and so I did some MS and ThinkVantage updates.

After that, the network card would not start upon
rebooting the computer unless I powered down,
removed the battery and power supply and then
rebooted the system.

Any body have an idea how I can fix this situation.

Welcome to the best Thinkpad forum on the Internet. What is the machine type/model as listed on the sticker on the bottom of the machine? We're looking for a (7) digit alpha numeric like 2347-3CU.

Sorry about that.
The second one had the type number
that might have been more helpful.
I guess I don't know how to make a
correction without some form of
duplication.
