R61i...does it have a mic?

I have an R61 8932-RF7 and it has the holes for the mic but when I go to the recording area it says none installed. Just trying to understand if this has a built in mic or not.

If it does not is it hard to add it?

The R61i hardware maintenance manual does not mention a microphone, but it does mention an external microphone jack.

If I understand correctly, R61i 8932 should have an internal mic. The only models without one are the one which also don't have the touchpad (really an R61e in R61i flavor) - these have model number 7650.

But it is possible that some of the Lenovo documents are wrong. More over, since 8932-RF7 is listed as a "refurb", it can theoretically be that some parts have been replaced and there is no longer an internal mic.
