Please need help with Thinkpad A20p
Hi guys someone gave me an IBM Thinkpad A20p because he didn't wanted and is very slow and have useless stuffs i kinda wanted to do a factory recovery but i don't have a restore CD by any chance is there any possible way to do a recovery to my laptop without a CD i have been looking to the options when the laptop starts but none say about restore to it's original mode if anyone knows please let me know thank you very much.

That machine came out originally with either W98-SE or W2K (and some even with Linux).
With its slow CPU (550, 600 or max. 700MHz) and max. 512MB (expensive PC100) RAM it's not really a candidate for XP or newer.
Look for a small Linux distro to make the most of it.

it has windows xp installed on it so i was wondering if at least i could just find a way to just recovery to it's original form that came from factory even if it's not windows xp

Posting a little more info on your machine, such as 7-character model number from the bottom (probably 2629-???) as well as the current system info (CPU speed, amount of RAM etc) would help us help you tweak the machine better.
Also, you may want to post a WTB (want to buy) ad for recovery disks in the forum's Marketplace.
