IBM ThinkPad R51 Keyboard

#1 Post by ThinkPad560X » Tue Oct 26, 2010 12:53 pm

Does anyone know what the right keyboard is for a IBM ThinkPad R51?

Its a 15" display and has the fingerprint reader palmrest. I bought one off ebay and it don't fit. I thought all T4/R5 keyboard were the same but the screw holes lineup diffrent from this one I bought but fits nice with my T40.

If it fits your T40 then it won't fit any 15" machine...14" units have 4 screw mounts while the 15" ones have 3, and in different places...
