Z61t Bluetooth and webcam info

Hi i just bought a Z61t and on the website it didnt say anything about bluetooth or webcam. i looked on ebay adn i found a bluetooth board and a whole screen with a webcam

I am not new to this. i have been adding stuff to thinkpads since 600e i added bluetooth to a t42

how eazy is it on this can it be done?? Thnaks

What I remember:

Bluetooth should be straightforward. As far as the camera goes, I think as long as the whole screen assembly comes with the LCD cable, it should be simple, otherwise it won't be, since the non-camera LCD cable for Z61t does not include the camera connector.

okay it looks like all of them have the bluetooth antena built in. am i correct?

If you attempt the WebCam upgrade, please post back the results. I posted details about a couple attempts to upgrade a Z61m or Z61p with a WebCam (not possible w/o a specific motherboard), see here --> http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=42137

It would be interesting to know if the upgrade can be done on the Z61t.

(There's no issue with Bluetooth upgrades on any Z61t/m/p/e, you just have to ensure the BT connector is on the LCD cable.)
