Port Replicator II, 9 cell battery, R52

Hi guys,

We have a ThinkPad R52 in the kitchen - some family members complain of the unsightliness of having the power adapter on the kitchen counter all the time. I just bought a new 9-cell battery for the unit and it works well, but I wanted to also get a dock so anyone could just dump it on top to get it to charge, and pull it off when they wanted to use it.

The one I had in mind was this:

Would this fit the 9-cell battery on the R52? Am I understanding correctly if I assume as soon as it is placed on the dock, it begins charging? Would help keep things tidier

Yes, that dock will support a 9 cell battery installed.
